Honouring the past and the present in shaping our future: an intersectional perspective

The DWP groups - 'race', age, gender and sexuality, class, ableism - are joining together to present this workshop. 

We will reflect on how ideas and conceptualisations around disadvantaged identities have been used to problematised groups of people in helping agencies.  The family therapy field has been influenced by, and challenged, these harmful ideas and practices. We will describe how the Diversity Working Party (DWP) hopes to continue challenging some ideas and promoting others.
