The conference will be held in the vibrant city of Glasgow; a city of contrasts and contradictions. Once the second city of the Empire and the industrial powerhouse of Scotland. This year's venue is the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central Hotel.​Located in the heart of the city centre, the hotel benefits from a fantastic location, and is close to many of Glasgow's amenities and attractions,

With a fantastic event space, the hotel is the ideal location for the AFSP Conference and all conference sessions will take place onsite at the hotel.

Travel Information

Train
Glasgow Central train station is approx a 10 minute walk away from the hotel.

Plane
The closest airport is Glasgow Airport, located 8 miles away.

Car Parking
The hotel has it's own chargeable car park. It is located at the back of the hotel. There is a max headroom of 1.9m. Parking is charged at a rate of £18 for 24 hours. ​ Parking is on a first come first serve basic and subject to availability.

Accessibility
The hotel has wheelchair access from the main hotel entrance to all meeting rooms in use during the conference. Most meeting rooms are located on the ground floor, with two smaller ones on the 8th floor accessible via lift. The main conference room stage will also have ramp access.

Accommodation
If you require accommodation, you will need to book this directly with your chosen hotel. Accommodation is NOT included in any of the conference tickets and you cannot book accommodation using the conference's online ticket booking system.

We have organised a discounted room rate at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central Hotel, starting at £145 per room per night, including breakfast (based on single occupancy).
