The Mercure Bristol Holland House is the host venue for the 2020 AFT Bristol Symposium.  It is conveniently located, just 10 minutes’ walk from Bristol city centre and has been selected for it's excellent conference facilities.


For guests who opt to take advantage of the discounted bedroom rate available to Symposium attendees, the hotel boasts 275 well appointed en suite bedrooms, each with TV, minibar, and facilities for making tea and coffee.  The hotel also boasts excellent leisure facilities, with an indoor pool, a fitness suite, and the on-site Urban Bar & Kitchen restaurant.

The closest mainline train station is Bristol Temple Meads, which is approximately 10 to 15 mins walk.


The closest airport is Bristol Airport, which is approximately 15 to 20 minutes drive in a taxi.

Car Parking

The hotel has onsite car parking, which is chargeable at £12 per day/overnight per car.  Note: Prices correct at time of publishing but hotel may change them at their discretion without notice, so you are advised to check the latest prices with the hotel before travel.  Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.

Single Occupancy:  £110 include breakfast.

Twin or double occupancy:  £130 including breakfast.

Prices are per room per night. Preferential rates only available for 30 April and 01 May 2020.  Rate is available for limited time only and is subject to room availability.

Accommodation booking should be made directly with the hotel (in a change from previous years you cannot book accommodation using the conference registration system).
