Arnon performs at the Blue Rooster in Sarasota, Floria, USA
Arnon writes...
I will be forever grateful to my late father who when I was aged 14 said to me “Arnon you need to play an instrument that will be a good for your social life.” He had a patient who played saxophone, who started to teach me. It sounded like a great idea for a teenager, and I was soon playing in dance bands, and when I got to Medical School, I started playing jazz.

It has been an enormous pleasure for me to be able to bring jazz to many of the institutions and organisations I have been associated with. As a founder of AFT I have greatly enjoyed organising bands for meetings, and playing with fine musicians like Kate Daniels, a UK family Therapist, and singer, and Peter Frankel, New York based Family Therapist and a great drummer –

See the Context cover suggesting “Rollover Bentovim” with me playing the sax.
Living now in Sussex I have been able to recruit some of the finest Brighton musicians for the 50th Celebration.
Paul Richards is an extraordinary guitarist in the Latin -Jazz tradition, his trio is a wonderful group who will get everyone wanting to move.

Mark Bassey is a fine Trombonist and great teacher – I still go to sessions to learn more. When the great Spanish Cellist Pablo Casals was asked why he practiced to his 90’s he said he was beginning to see some improvement- as I approach my 90th year I agree!!

Julian Nicholas is one of the finest Sax players on the South Coast, and a musician I have learnt so much from
Unfortunately, I couldn’t ask my daughter – Ayalah – Sister Bliss who runs the band Faithless – Insomnia and God is a DJ – they are playing all over Europe!!

Come and listen and dance the night away!!
