Workshop Information
This workshop offers a systemic and relational exploration of emotional reflexivity and psychological safety within supervision, clinical practice and organisational teams. Positioned within an experiential framework, the session moves beyond conceptual teaching to create opportunities for participants to witness and engage with emotional reflexivity as a lived relational process.
Using the facilitators’ supervisor–supervisee relationship as a starting point, the workshop models how emotional reflexivity and curiosity contribute to the co-creation of psychological safety. Participants will be invited to reflect on the emotional and relational dynamics that emerge within professional systems, including how emotions are managed, silenced, and expressed within teams and supervisory spaces.
Drawing on systemic psychotherapy, relational practice and contemporary understandings of psychological safety, the workshop will explore how emotionally reflexive practices can strengthen collaboration, deepen reflective capacity, and support healthier professional relationships. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how emotional reflexivity can be applied within supervision, leadership, team functioning and clinical practice to foster more thoughtful, connected and psychologically safe environments.
