Fringe Session A (Day 1 - 13:15)
A psychodramatic encounter with the past, present, and future of family therapy
Martin Gill

A psychodramatic exploration of the spirit and wisdom of influential figures in Family Therapy—past, present, and future. Featuring the insights of Robin Skinner, Salvador Minuchin, Virginia Satir, and Gregory Bateson.
This will be a playful yet sensitively held creative exploration of the group’s collective knowledge, experience and appreciation of the brilliance and originality of key figures in family therapy.
Participants will also have a unique opportunity to meet and welcome future family therapy practitioners who are about to be born! You will also have the opportunity to name and honour the lesser-known, yet equally important teachers and practitioners who have inspired your practice. Participants will also learn some action methods and techniques, such as doubling, mirroring, role reversal, and empty chair work, for their practice.
